Hello again everybody!
Sorry it has been a while since I have written but as you all know I am at CAMP COWHER and have been pretty busy trying to learn the offense. I hope that everyone is doing well and I am sure that you all are as excited about the season as I am.
I know that you all want to find out about the games, so I will get right to it. The first pre-season game in Detroit was a lot of fun. It was close to home, and I know that there were a lot of Findlay people there and it was easy for my family to make the trip.
I want to thank all of the people that were there to support me. I know that I may not have gotten to see or talk to you all (Tags & Connie) but know that I am very thankful.
I was not very nervous for the game, which I thought I would be, but I think I was just too excited to be nervous. I had so much fun out there in my first game. Obviously the outcome for the team was not
what we all hoped for, but it was a first step for me and hopefully a start to a long career.
It was great to see Miami U. players out there on the field ... my tight end from last year, Matt Brandt, and former wide receiver Trevor Gaylor played for the Lions.
Well now to tell you all about my first ever game experience, and first time stepping foot on Heinz Field. The FANS are awesome!!! I would hate to be an opposing player in our stadium.
Once again I was not real nervous... I just wanted to go out and try to put on a good show for the home crowd. I had a blast out there on the field, and it always helps when you win. I hope that this game will be the first of many games on that field, and one of many, many wins.
I am moving into my house very soon so I will be able to keep in touch more often once I get my computer set up at home. So thanks again for all the support and love. I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am.
P.S. Thanks for coming to the game Bruce and J.T, and I ask all of you to please keep Kendall Simmons in your prayers. Thanks, God bless and Pittsburgh, lets go get ONE FOR THE THUMB!!
