Hey everyone,
I'm sorry it's been so long since my last entry. As I'm sure you can all imagine, I've been really busy lately. Plus, I'm having trouble getting Internet access in my new home, so that's made it even harder to keep in touch.

However, you are all very important to me, so I wanted to make sure I took a few minutes to touch base. I promise to write more often as soon as my schedule permits.
The support you have given me is awesome and also humbling. I'm very blessed. Steelers fans are the best fans in the world. Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart. And big thanks for continuing to support my official Web site, BigBen7.com.
As you all know, this is a very big week for us. And it's a lot of fun for me, because I get to go up against one of my best friends in the league, Byron Leftwich. Byron and I both went to college at MAC schools, so we go way back. I hope you'll all get to watch the game and cheer us on.
Well, better get back to studying for this Sunday's game. Again, God bless to everyone and thanks again for all your support. It means the world to me.
Also, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone if I don't get a chance to write again this month.
- Ben
Hey Ben,
I hope you had an awesome thanksgiving. Im on school break and watching you guys play made the break even better. The Steelers would be lost without you. You and Jerome are my favorite. Oh well good luck and I hope you continue with you awesome season.

You're the man, Ben. Steeler fans are worldwide and we're all behind you.
I feel blessed to have you, and all of the good things you represent, lead my beloved team. There is a reason for everything... even sitting backstage at the draft until the 11th pick. I knew it at the time and now you know.

Hey Ben!
So glad to see a post from you again!! I'm happy you could find even a little time to touch base with us. We all appreciate how great you are to your fans and are still SO thrilled you're playing for our team and helping make them look better than they have in years! Good luck this week against the Jags.
Happy Holidays -- You deserve it!!

Hey Ben
I'm a die hard Steeler fan born and raised...and now I'm a die hard Ben fan. You're a truley amazing athlete. I always look forward to football Sunday's and even more now since you've helped make the Steelers a threat to every team in the NFL. What I love the most about you is how humble you are and how willing you are to give credit to all those around you before accepting it for yourself... you should know that you deserve just as much credit (if not a little more in some cases) for the success so far this season. Keep playin hard and kick a$$! I would say good luck, but you don't need it.

Hey Ben! I was glad to see your newest post and to see that you're still doing well. I'm 20, and I live about half an hour east of Pittsburgh. I've been following the Steelers for as long as I can remember through good and bad times. I look forward to Sundays for the games. You have had such a positive impact on my favorite team, and although I know you haven't done it single handedly, you are a big part of the reason for the great season so far. Thanks for embracing Pittsburgh and the fans. I know with you at the helm, the Pittsburgh Steelers have nothing but a bright Future. Good Luck with life and in your future career with the Steelers!

Great work Ben!
I'm 20 yrs old, and Sunday I went to my first Steelers game. Been a huge fan forever, but I bought my first Steelers jersey while at the game, and you better believe it's a #7. You showed real class during warmups when you went around to every single player and coach and gave your regards. You will be a phenomenal leader on the Steelers and in Pittsburgh if you stay focused and remember what's important. Good luck against the jags!

Hey Ben,
Happy holidays, and I agree with everyone else, you brought the steelers back to the top, good luck on the game this sunday!!!

It's not easy growing up a Steelers fan in the heart of Eagles Country. Though I was born and raised in Philly, all of my family is from Pittsburgh and I visit the city often. It is so great to now see a solid QB in addition to the Steelers' legendary defense and running game. One thing I'm sure I don't have to tell you is how great Steelers fans are and how much we love our team. I go to the University of Delaware and although there may only be a few of us Steelers fans out at the bars and restaurants on Sundays...we are always supporting you and the rest of the Super Steelers. Thanks.

Hi, Ben! Happy holidays! I always look forward to Sundays to watch the Steelers play! I watched you from the time you got picked for the Steelers, saw you practice at Training Camp, (I was on the sideline) and now, you are the best player for the Steelers! You have come such a long way! Keep up the good work! Take care and God Bless! GO STEELERS!!!!!!!

Hi Ben! I just wanted to tell you that I enjoy reading your blog to get your perspective on how things have been going for you on and off the field.
Even though I'm sure you know it by now, you've become very important to our city. You've brought a lot of enthusiasm to the team, and it's very evident that you are respected by your teammates and fans. With you continuing to lead our team, we all know good things are in our future.
Peyton who?
Take care. We'll be cheering you guys on this weekend. :)

You're doing great things for our city and I can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the season--- ALL THE WAY baby!

Ben,
I can't help it but everytime I watch what you do or read what you write, it just make me wish that there were more (men) people like you in the world. My family and I love how you and the team are working as a whole and not just on the field but off it too. There are not many words that I think anyone can use to describe the Steelers season but wow.
And Ben you'll never need to worry about not being loved. As Steeler fans we are there for you and the team no matter what happens. I know where every you and the team may go there will always Steeler fans on those stands, in the snow, rain, or sun we will be there. Because the team just means that much to us and I think you can see that times my change but Steeler fans never will. We have 3 generations of Steeler fans so I know all the stories of the Steelers in there good time and bad.
Merry Christmas Ben! Stay safe and keep up the good work. We'll be watching. I know this is a bit early but please show the Ravens that they can't mess with the Steel City.
Love ya

Ben, I do think it is amazing that you find time to say hello to all of us and update us on how things are with you. There aren't a lot of people in the NFL that would do that I don't think. Now if only I could find a guy like you to date, everything would be perfect;) I dont live in Pittsburgh anymore, (Kansas City is where I am now, but I am NOT a Chiefs fan), but I watch the game every week at my brothers house on his big screen. We always have a a Steelers party. I was actually at the Redskins game freezing my butt off and remaining a true fan to you and the rest of the team. Just wanted to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you. If you are anything like me, (we are the same age), you probably love the holidays, and make sure you put up a nice big tree in your new house! Hope everything goes well and good luck this week at the big game!
God Bless!

Hi Ben!
I just wanted to say that you are an awesome quarterback. The steeler's would be lost without you! You have really turned the team around! The Steelers are always good, but now that they have you, here comes the Superbowl! :) I know you have a busy schedule with the playoffs around the corner. It is great you write when you can! It is exciting to hear from you personally versus through the media!
Hope your Turkey day was great! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Ben,
It is fantastic to hear from you!
Don't worry about filling out this Blog, there will be plenty of time to reflect when the season is over.
I am fortunate enough to have seen you in Latrobe, your first start in miami (that was unforgettable), and in cincy.
I will be there to cheer you and your teammates on Sunday night in jacksonville and I am going to see you against the ravens in Pittsburgh the day after Christmas.
Thank God that you are good at hitting Hines, Plax and Randle El. Who cares about cab windows?
Merry Christmas To You and all of your Family!
