Hey Ben,
I was just writing to say that I hope your thanksgiving went well. Best thing about Thanksgiving is you eat til you are about to explode, take a nap, and then watch football all day. Well that's what I do anyways. Hope to here from you soon

Thanks for thankiing the troops. My dad is in the Army and is fixing to be deployed AGAIN so, that means alot to me that you thanked them! You're the bst football player ever! Sam
P.S. I just want to know one thing, Ben. If I send a custom painting (that I painted myself)to you, will you keep it?

Happy holidays Ben,

All I can say is thank you for remembering the troops that are overseas for the holiday season. Its good to know that someone is thinking of us while we're there. I've spent the past two holiday seasons there. This is my first one home in a long time.....two years is way too long! Im so excited to be home, my house is going to look like the Griswold's on Christmas vacations when I get done with all of my decorations, ha ha!! While in the desert, we would stay up all night long to watch the games. You pretty much lose track of time, and the days run together over there. The only time I would look to see what day/time it was....was when the Steelers were playing. That was the only thing that we had to look forward to....and we thank you for that!!
So, now that Im done and home for a while....its so great to see people that appriciate what were doing and dont forget about us. Thanks!!!
I have a bunch of pictures from there with me and people from my unit supporting our Steelers with our towels, shirts and signs. I can email them if you like....but Im not sure where to send them? If you would like to see, please let me know.
Take care,
Becky

Ben,
As a Miami alumni, I would just like to say that it's very sad that you continue to be so closely associated with the school. It has become quite evident to me that you apparently did not value your education as much as your athletic ability in school. Considering that you are a good athlete, I can't say I necessarily blame you. It is a little embarassing, however, when you come from a presitigious school such as Miami University and you cannot spell, punctuate correctly and sometimes form complete, clear sentences. One might assume that you would have someone edit your blog to make it appear as though you placed some value on your image and perception that they might have about your educational background. I find it embarassing as a Miami alumni and as a professional whose job it is to know the difference between words like, "to" and "too."
I did not post this to make you feel ashamed of yourself or to make you feel like you are not worthy of playing the sport/the attention you receive from it. I have become increasingly aware of your grammatical mistakes on here, and it bugs me. Just the same as it bugs me when I read it in online journals and blogs that my friends keep. Someone in your position, with such a following, really should have a way to edit out mistakes to maintain the top notch image you've gained as a stellar football player.

And one more thing - GO BENGALS!!! How could you let your Cincinnati pride down?

Susan

I am a huge fan, Ben! I was brought up as a Steelers' fan (Terrible Towel diaper covers and all), my brother went to Miami U., and I went to BGSU, not far from your hometown. I watch dilligently and freak out with every pass :) I'll be at the Cleveland game on Christmas Eve. I am a 27-year-old Special Education teacher during the day and I go to nursing school at night, so I have little spare time...but there's always enough time to watch my Benny :) I'm 5'3", I have black hair and people tell me I resemble Katie Holmes??? Anyway, good luck with the rest of your season...and if you are ever in Cleveland and need someone to show you around...give me a ring! 216-272-4513 :)

Please Ben,
I cant take another loss. its killin me. I know its not your fault, but my friend maggie and I cant take all the harrassments... Its not good for us mentally. Please even if you guys have the shittiest season, we will still love you but come on...can you guys break the losing streak. please? I dont want an ulcer or heart attack at the age of 23. We love you and god frickin bless Ben. Tell Troy we love him too.

Anyway, good job, Ben, hurt thumb and all, you keep coming through. Keep this up, and we'll go far, man. Good luck, from the VA Beachin' Steeler Fan Club down here in Virginia. Late.
