Hello again to everybody, I am writing again to let you know how everything has been going in my crazy life...figure I could take a few minutes out of my day to talk to you, the fans...well we just got done beating the Bengals and boy did it feel GREAT!!!!
That was a very big win for us and I think it really gave us a new confidence heading into the meat of our schedule...it especially feels great to be back on the field playing instead of just watching because last week killed me not being able to play...that was the first time in my career that I have not started a game once I was already the starter..so sorry that I let you all down by not playing.
I will do my very best from now on to play in as many games as I can...by the way Zeus says hi to everybody, he's doing well, getting big and still as ornery as ever.
I am excited about something I think we are going to try and do on the site and that's put pictures on the site that are from my phone, so like this past weekend I took pictures of the stadium and fun stuff so I hope that it turns out to be a lot of fun and I hope you all will like it..well I guess I better get going I need to make sure my dog is staying out of trouble...take care everyone and I hope to see you all at the Monday night game...BR7
what me first?? Wow

Don't apologize for last week...I'm just so happy that you guys beat Cincinnati yesterday. OK, ok, I'm ecstatic! :) As members of the Steeler Nation here at Ithaca College, we're all pulling for you guys and are super excited about the Baltimore game next week, as we'll actually get to see it. Go Steelers!!

Man, the hard line breaks make that update hard to read. Why all the br tags? At least they're XHTML compliant, I guess...
Oh, uhhh, good luck with your season? I'm worried, because you guys are in the same division as the Ravens, who are a) "my" team, and b) having a terrible season.

Glad to see you back out on the field, Ben. Best wishes for continued health and success. Nice to see you finding Heath out there - that's going to open up a whole new dimension for you guys, and is very exciting to watch as a fan. Go Steelers!!
The other day, I was playing Madden 06 on my PSP, Steelers vs. Bengals. Your stat line: 11/17 for 395, 8TDs. I think 4 of those were to Heath, 3 to Hines, one for Antwaan. :)
Time to take it to the next skill level, I think. 84-21 was the final score.

Ben,
You guys are doing great!! Don't get yourself down about last week. You have become an amazing and humble leader of a great team. Your concern for your teammates, your ability to thank and encourage them, and your leadership means more to them and to your fans than winning every game. I haven't read the site in a while and was reading your past blogs. I was sorry to read about your grandfather. I lost mine 2 years ago, he was 86 and I still miss him everyday. Your grandfather sounded a lot like mine. Men like that are the true heros. I just want to wish you and the team luck for the remainder of season. Just keep on doing what you are and with God's help you will succeed.

Hey Ben!
I was so glad to see you playing this past weekend. I was so scared when you got hurt, I thought you blew your knee out or something. We were all deffinatley saying prayers over here in California for you.
Over the summer I FINIALLY got to come out to Pittsburgh and see the stadium, I got to go on a tour of it and everything, MAN that place is cool! We had a lot of fun out there. The day we left was kids day i guess at training camp, i was kind of bummed that we didnt get to come out for that, but being gone from home for about a month because of a family emergency was hard, so maybe next time were out there ill be able to do that!
Good luck in the game this week! Ill be rootin for you guys!!

Hi Ben,
You and the rest of the Steelers looked great on Sunday. We had to go to a sports pub to see the game b/c I'm now living in Atlanta but it was fun. There were other Steelers fans there too thank goodness. Glad Zeus is doing well and I'm looking forward to your phone pics and hearing more about your "crazy life"! :) God bless you and thanks so much for being the person that you are. Take care of that SUPER cute puppy of yours! Don't apologize for getting hurt... you didn't let anyone down! You're human honey, we all are and sometimes we get hurt!
Anyway, kick some Ravens tail on Monday! I'll be watching, in my Halloween costume! :)

Big Ben-
AWESOME game yesterday! Even in the cold nasty rain, it was AMAZING, and I was there waving my soaked towel at the end!
It was so nice to see you whoop on them. And even nicer that you afforded me the ability to rub it in a little at work today. I live in Cincy and I posted last week about how tired I am of hearing the Bengals chants at work and around the city. So...THANKS! Stay healthy and humble and you will continue to enjoy the successes that you have for the past year! Good Luck! (Oh, and is it too much too early to ask for a Christmas present? I'll be in Cleveburg for that game on Christmas Eve...te he he)

Hi Ben,
It was great to hear your thoughts on the game yesterday. But don't blame yourself for not being able to play against the Jaquars. We understand, and, we're so pleased you were able to be back in the pocket so soon.
The game was exciting, and with the injuries, scary, too. I have no voice today, but a smile on my face. I smile and whisper, "We won!" Everyone knows who "we" are and why my voice is gone. It was well worth it ;) I enjoyed your reaction to Heath's breeze of a catch in the inzone. You seemed to feel as we have since last year, that this is your home, your team, where you belong. It was a joy to watch. The rhythm is back.
God Bless you guys this week to recoup, refresh, and prepare. We'll be right there with you on Monday to "scare the Ravens back to Baltimore"! God Bless You!
fmc
PS. Is something up with Troy? He just doesn't seem to be engaging as usual. Hope all is well!

Ben,
I love it when you write, I get so excited!! Yes, it did feel GREAT to win!! Everybody at school still gives me crap but I don't care. They're just jealous of the Steelers! I'm going to watch the game on Halloween, even though I was going to go with some friends I'd rather watch the game!! How about we win like last year!! We will! Did you know that 48% of people voted on the computer said that Ben Roethlisberger was gonna be the youngest quarterback to take their team to the super bowl and win? I know that's gonna happen. G2G
Love Ya,
Traci
