Hey Ben,
I just have to tell you that I really truely think you are an awesome person, you are so level headed and down to earth, when you write in your blogs your words and thoughts are so sincer and I love that about you. Even with all that is going on with the Super Bowl you still manage to keep a clear head and that is exactly what a player needs to do at a time like this. You said in your entry that it is an honor for you to be part of this team, I really think it is our honor to have you, you have done something to this team and this City to be perfectly honest that no one has ever been able to do before and that is give us hope. I really believe this is just the beginning for the Steelers and we are going to have many years like this ahead of us. Just remember all of us fans back in the Burgh are with you in Detroit at heart. So I guess what I am trying to say is Thank you for being you and please never change. Best of luck all this week, I will keep you and all the rest of the guys in my thought and prayers. WE LOVE YOU BLACK AND GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ashley

Howdy,

It's good to see ya'll up and running. I caught the team landing in Detroit on the news; Jerome looked as happy as a kid in a candy shop. :) Take care, Ben. And stay safe!

Wow,
It really is amazing that you take the time out to keep in contact with the fans. Lots of athletes thank their fans, but it's often just lipservice. You are genuine and that's very rare. Thank you. Have an AMAZING week, and ROCK the Superbowl. Much LOVE and RESPECT from the west coast! God Bless.

Melissa

Hey Ben!
Thats for taking the time out of your busy schedule to tell us fans your experiences this week in Detroit. I wish you and the team the best of luck on Sunday! Everyone in Pittsburgh is standing behind you guys win or lose. Although, we all know in our hearts that you will get one for the thumb and for Bettis. You have been the thing that this team needed and I know you will shine on Sunday.

Lisa and Bob

Ben,
Best of luck to you and all the guys on Sunday, we are soooo excited. Can't wait to watch the game.Have a great week, enjoy every minute of it, and stay safe.

GO STEELERS

Ben-
The experience of preparing for the Super Bowl must be surreal. As such, thanks for taking a minute to check in, as your schedule must be insane! I will be decked in Miami gear come Sunday, representing our fine University. Also, I will not permit anyone NOT rooting for Pitt into my home to watch the game (I'm thinking about getting bouncers..what do you think)? Ha! Anyway, best of luck from this fellow RedHawk, and a fellow #7.

Congrats on making it to the Super Bowl. I have to tell you I had lost interst in football until you hit the scene. You and your team have that magic quality that has been missing since the old 49ers with Montana and Lott. Even my son, a devoted video game junkie shouts out the names of the players, if only we could figure out how to say Troy's last name.

Good luck on Sunday, you've got a couple of Okie fans cheering you on and arguring with the refs on TV.

TanyaH

Ben,
Congrats on everything you have accomplished so far. You have brought this team where they should be at - ONE MORE GAME. That's all it takes. It will be the biggest one of your life, but YOU CAN DO IT! Enjoy this. Take it all in, and on Game Day - bring another one home.

Kathleen

Ben,
You and your teammates have had an excellent season and have proven that anything is possible with hard work.
Good luck this week and have fun!

Kay

Hey Ben!

Have a great, exciting, fun week. It is the opportunity of a lifetime. Wow! So incredible! My goal before I die is to attend a Superbowl game. Can't even imagine what it must be like for you! Looking forward to the game Sunday. I hope it is a good competitive game with the Steelers coming out on top. And funny thing is - I have lived in the Northwest all my life, have followed the Hawks - But I pray this one goes to the Steelers!

Take care and have a wonderful time!

Hey Chuck, I'm not a Steeler fan, but I'm convinced you guys are going to win. You have all the momentum and seem to be the team of destiny. Besides, I can't see Seattle handling that Steeler pass rush.

Katie

Ben thanks so much for writing! We all appreciate it so much! Good luck on Sunday! =]

Bryan

Ben,

I just moved to the Seattle area from Pittsburgh. What are the chances that these two teams would be in the Super Bowl this year? I have no doubt that if you continue your excellent post-season play that the Steelers will be the victors of Super Bowl XL. I'd like to see you guys give Bus the perfect ending to a great career (and also give me bragging rights over my new co-workers and friends here in Washington)!

Rock those 'Hawks!!
Bryan

Ashley

Ben,

I live about 30 miles outside of New Orleans and I couldn't believe that the Saints passed on drafting you. I had seen you play a few times on ESPN and thought you were the new age quarterback, big, agilem, and a great arm. So instead the Saints stayed with Aaron Brooks who is a joke. Keep up the good work and good luck in the Super Bowl. You guys deserve to be there, you all earned it and played hard all year.
