Hello all,
As you can imagine, Ben's very busy preparing for Seattle the next few weeks. However, he wanted us to send along his best to everyone and thank you for your support. He'll blog again as soon as he can find the time ... which we hope won't be till mid-February sometime. :-)
As always, feel free to leave comments for Ben. He enjoys reading them in his free time. Please remember to keep it clean, as kids visit this blog frequently.
Thanks,
BigBen7.com Team
OK, I realize I'm late in actually checking out this blog but...
H-E-L-L-O!! Where are you??
Ben, I'm a native from your neck of the woods (North Baltimore, Oh) and such a big fan!! Keep your head up darlin' (I live in the south now; darlin' is a real word here) you & the Steelers are still the same power house you were last year and will be rocking the NFL again before you know it. You are proving yourself to be a real leader and we're all very proud of you!
Continued success and blessing to you!!

Hi Ben,
Sorry things didn't go the way you guys wanted. You know, you can run through the stats a million times-everybody knows them. But, I am not giving up on you, Hines Ward, Joey Porter, Alan Fanaca and the rest of the team. I figure it this way, God never gave up on me, I am not giving up on you..
Your friend in JC,

2-6 and the defense has allowed for a number of close games you have lost. I know you are taking a lot of criticism for the losing season, but it's a team effort. It's not the Steelers' year, but last year was and who knows what next season will bring. I recently received a tattoo of the 3 yellow, red and blue diamonds, just below my bikini line...I love it, remember the days I lived in the PGH area, and don it (permanantly) with pride!!! I love you Ben. Stay healthy and keep your beautiful chin up!

Hang in there Ben - we are truly behind you and we support you. All Steelers fan truly know we wouldn't have one for the thumb without you back there- Fear not as Pittsburgh's team will come back together! I've been watching since 82 and this team is as good as any of them were-from 1995,to last year the steelers have had some thunder in the league- this year's team could be even better (and people will surely disagree) but my crazy theory is based on a love of the steelers and watching way to much steelers football games. I truly feel like the certain players like Washington,Davenport, are making a difference to fill the gaps that opened with our lost talent in Randle EL and our Beloved Bus. Then you have Holmes who is so good, that he makes rookie mistakes (as expected) We are looking like a good team right now on all cylinders except special teams which I can't figure out..They are like 50% to me. Very small mistakes are beating us--When it rains it pours, and when it stops- it will shine. Go Shine 7's all day man-- More importantly Ben stay healthy- you already got us the superbowl and we're good for years to go!!! Thank you!!! Take us out strong-All you need is the wildcard spot again-
