FRIDAY
Friday was our last real day of practice, as tomorrow will just be a walkthrough and Sunday is, well... you know what Sunday is. We had another good workout Friday. We reached the Silverdome by 8:30am, and were back to hotel by 2pm. I went to a late lunch with my agent, Ryan at one of my favorite spots, PF Changs. Not too many recognized me, which was nice. Afterward, Ryan and I shot pool again back at the hotel. I was planning on paying a quick visit to my friends at Nike, as they were hosting a party Friday night, but I felt it was better for me to stay in the hotel and relax with my teammates. As I mentioned before, we are staying in Pontiac, which is a ways from downtown Detroit, and that's where all of the corporate parties are. My apologies to everyone at Nike, under other circumstances I would make every effort to be there. So that was pretty much it for Friday. The game on Sunday is near - my chance to live a dream. Thank you all for continue to read this stuff this week. I do actually read through many of the comments, and appreciate all of them. You guys are very loyal and much appreciated.

Hey Ben-
Wow, like you said to the media, this was what you dreamed of. You should feel so proud for being the youngest quarterback to win a Superbowl. Pittsburgh is proud to have an amazing and skilled guy like you being a leader on that team. Thank you for everything and for getting Bus that ring!
*Kell*
*Can't wait to see what next season holds!

Congratulations Ben on winning the Super Bowl. The whole team really pulled together. Don't worry about your passing stats, because you had a lot of other really good plays that helped lead to a Steelers victory. I never gave up faith that you all would win. I'm so happy that you have accomplished so much so far in your young career. Now you can take it easy for a little while and spend sometime with Zeus. Best wishes to you in the off-season, and tell the rest of the Steelers congratulations on one heck of a season.

Ben:
Congrats on bringing a championship back to Pittsburgh. You guys had a great end of the season run, and you had one hell of a playoff yourself. Looking forward to more of the same next year, NO PRESSURE THOUGH!! Have a good offseason. You need it after all this!

Wow. The game last night was the most intense Super Bowl I can remember! It was a great game to watch! I've been a Steelers fan for as long as I can remember and I have been pulling for you since you got drafted. You're an amazing leader! Continue to be steady as a rock on the field. Enjoy your down time for off season and Good luck next one! Congrats to you and the entire team! Tell Bettis we will miss him. Can't wait for next season!

Dear Ben and Ben fans,
What an awesome game! So much CONGRATULATIONS!! The whole team was fabulous!
I am so excited I got to watch the Steelers win the SUPER BOWL!!
My only regret is that I had to be in Philadelphia (where I go to school) for the big game. My viewing experience was polluted by Eagles fans being in the vicinity!!! haha. I'll bet Pittsburgh is all but rioting right now. I hope all of you that are in the city are living it up and enjoying the excitement!
'Burgh Love!! :-)

WE WERE THERE..AT THE SUPER BOWL (there goes the house)...TOO MUCH FOR WORDS.
We have tried to keep a low profile, but now I am compelled to write. It is also beyond the imagination how Findlay has converted to "Steelerism", but as you know, Coach is a life-long Steeler fan.
I have an amateur video that I did of some of the sights here that are very heart-warming.
I really hope that when the day comes, if ever, when things are a bit calmer, that some of your faithful will be able to see you (maybe some other Steelers as well) and really soak in the magic.
It is very hard for some of the people here who really care and who keep you close in thoughts and prayers to be present to you as everything to most is so cost prohibitive.
Sad, but true.
Enjoy it all..I think we will see you get a haircut on Letterman tonight if what we are hearing is true.
And BTW...Mick Jagger is no slouch either...I am a longer Stones fan than a Steeler fan.
Best regards!

I just wanted to say congratulations on the big win! You did great, and the whole team stuck together and played a great game against a tough Seahawks team. I can't even imagine how good you must feel right now.
I really think you are the best QB the Steelers have had since Bradshaw. I admire the way you play and conduct yourself. I am proud of you and the whole team. Enjoy the win. You worked hard and deserve the success you are having.
In peace.

For those of us Pittsburgh fans too young to remember the dynasty days (I'm only 21) it was so refreshing to see a Superbowl win. I've been a fan my entire life. We couldn't have done it without you. Congradulations!

Ben-
Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with all of your fans. This season has been such a thrill & I have really enjoyed reading about your personal experiences (as has my 4 year old daughter). You seem like a genuinely decent guy. You have phenomenal talent and I am certain that you will have a long and distinguished career (hopefully always in Pittsburgh). Looking forward to seeing you in the Hall of Fame.
I know you will be very busy in the coming weeks, but hopefully you will have some time to enjoy your sucess & savor it with your family, friends and teammates.
Thanks again for the great season! My husband & i can't wait to take the kids & see the Steelers at St. Vincent.
God Bless

Pontiac!?! You guys were in Pontiac? Sweet Jesus that like 20 mins away. I need time to digest this.
Anyways, in the words of the great Chris Farley "That....was....AWESOME!!!!" Congratulations! It was an honor having you guys win the Super Bowl here. Oh and thanks for being so cute.

Ben,
I want to thank you and say congrats to all of the Pittsburgh Steelers for making the dream come true. I was around in the "glory years", during the first championships, but this one seems so much more sweet. The Steelers carry so much of a legacy with them. And all of you are such role models to the youth of today. You show them what hard work and keeping faith in God can do. I work in one of the local nursing homes and can not tell you how much joy and happiness these past weeks have brought to our residents. They have all been wearing black and gold, having Steeler parties, and the atmosphere has been electric.
So, from all your fans here at Kane Ross, thanks to all of you for making the dream come true

Congradulations Ben! You are a great quarterback as i'm sure you already know. But I wanted to tell you I love the way you take the time to shake the hands of your fans and thank them. I love how you pray before the game. I also prayed Sunday before the game. But you show respect for the fans, you are not the usual young, big mouthed quarterback that we have gotten use to seeing. We could use more people like you in this world. I am a fan on the field and off. I hope I can raise my 4 year old son to have as much respect for people as you. Laura D.

My family is from PA so I kinda grew up with the steelers but this is the first season I ever got into the game, so It was a great season. Your such a great quarterback at such a young age, showing people that if you follow your dreams they can come true!

Wow Ben. Young and talented! I've never watched any Super Bowls but when I heard you could be the youngest quarterback to win, I just had to watch. Congrats to you and the team. You all did a wounderful job!

Congratulations to you and the team Ben. It was a great game, but new it would be nothing less with the Steelers playing. Wishing you continuing success and happiness that you all deserve. I have been a steelers fan all my life and would be no matter what. It was so great to set and watch the line of traffic of fans heading home on the pike from out window. Thats whatits all about faith and dedication.
God Bless and always keep you safe.
