Ben,
I heard a rummor that you had your own blog! I just wanted to wish you luck this Sunday! Treat it like every Sunday since you came in this league. I've been a big fan of the Steelers for over 31 years now. And I haven't seen anyone like you since Bradshaw! With that being said, Good luck and we will be watching! Later

Ben;
I was really surprised to see that your blogging again. I can't even imagine how busy you must be with all the media in Detroit. That just goes to show what a terrific guy you are. Always thinking about the fans and how much they care about you and the team.

I watched the groundhog this morning in Punxy, PA. He did see his shadow but he was wrapped in a terrible towel!!! That cracked me up.

Best of luck on Sunday, although, I don't think the team needs "luck" to be the winner. You ALL play so well...my prayers are with you and the team.

Tell Hines to SMILE alot. I love his smile and my best to Jerome, too.

"Yinz guys are the best"

I just want to say good luck Ben and the whole amazing steeler team! Give me a good birthday and going away present! I am moving out of state, but no matter where I go I will always be a pittsburgh fan! GOOD LUCK!

Katie

Jamin,
I think you should keep the beard and hair. You look so sexy now. I think it's good. If you do anything to your beard,I think you should just trim it. Don't shave the whole thing off, please!

good luck in the game sunday.

Hello Ben,
Great to see you are enjoying yourself in Detroit. I really enjoyed watching the highlights on ESPN regarding Media Day and such. You guys look great. I can surely see confidence running not only through you but your teammates also and Coach Cowher. I feel totally confidence you guys are going to definitely bring Pittsburgh that exclusive Vince Lombardi Trophy that been hindering us for the last 26 years.

I can't wait to see your eyes glow and finally get that pressure off your shoulders of finally winning the big one. I will be sporting your Away Jersey on Sunday. No matter what, do what you always do best and fire those passes like missles.

GOD BLESS YOU BEN and the Team!!!

Sincerely,
David Saurer

Hi Ben,
I just wanted to thank you and the rest of the team for making watching football so much fun! Also, I have an 11 year old little brother, who next to my father, is the biggest Steeler fan I know. He believed in you guys the entire season....no matter how glim the odds were against you. He turns 12 the day after the superbowl and I was wondering if you could let me know in advance (by email, or by posting) if you or the rest of the team will be making appearances to sign autographs...I would be the best sister in the world if I could bring him to meet anyone from the Steelers for his birthday. I know it's a slim chance...but I thought it couldn't hurt to try.

Thanks and Good Luck on Sunday :o)

From a Ravens fan: I hope you do the AFC North proud! It would be cool to host the Super Bowl champs next year.
Have a great game Sunday night. I hope you're not making any tackles that night...

Jeff

Ben,

Great job this season, you've made all of us very proud to be Steeler fans and from such a great city. My family and I are in Birmingham, AL and will be cheering you on to victory!!!! (as usual) Keep your cool...

Hi Ben,

Coming to you from the middle of Massachusetts, where it might not be easy being a Steeler fan, but I truly couldn't see myself rooting for any other team. It's been a long time coming since we have had a Quarterback for the Stillers that we in Steeler Nation can have faith in. For that I want to say thank you!!! I believe we will win on Sunday because this is a close knit and very talented team. I wish you and the rest of the Team the best on Sunday and continued success for you both indivudually and for the Steelers for many years to come!!

Will be cheering loud and proud in MA!!

Ben~

I'm reading your daily recaps with a smile on my face - it's great to hear that you guys are having a good week. Keep focused, enjoy it, have fun, and win!!!

And tell us about the dinner at the Bettis family home when you get a chance. :)

Ben, thanks for taking the time to blog during one of the biggest weeks of your life. Many of us down here in NC are waving our TTs proudly. All the best to you and the team on Sunday. You have the support of your fans 100%! Congratulations on such an outstanding and exciting season.

Saw you and a few teammates at Wednesday night's PISTONS game. Did you get a chance to meet Detroits' BIG BEN???

Diana

Hey BigBen,

Congrads on all you success these past 2 seasons, especially this year- lets go get "One for the thumb!!" You've brought alot of talent and pose to the NFL and this football team in such a short amount of time, and I congratulate you on that success. I've been a Steeler fan since heck I can't even recall, and I can see the STEEL CITY keeping you in their grasp for a very long time... its a shame we're losing the BUS! Good luck Big Ben... And if you have the time stop by Altoona PA with the BUS to check out an Altoona Curve game- we would love to host you!!!

God Bless;
Diana

Terri

Hey Ben, thanks again for keeping us updated on what's happening with you this week. I thought you did great during Media Day. I'm sure talking to the media for an hour & having the same questions asked over & over again can be tiresome, but you handled it as you always do: with class, professionalism & some humor. Good luck to you on Sunday. I'm thinking Ben Roethlisberger, Super Bowl XL MVP. How's that sound?

~Terri

P.S. Glad you're not planning on cutting your hair after Sunday. Also, how was dinner at Bussie's parents?

Jeff Lyons

Ben, 1st time posting here. wanted to say how proud I am to have lived thru the tough times as a Steeler fan to the present time where I am routing for a great team. You guys deserve to win and I sense a very good group of guys representing our Nation. I am the son of Sharon Lyons from Industry PA who posted earlier today. My daughter is a huge fan of yours (she is 10yrs old. We have a tradition b4 each game that she wears her #7 jersey and pretends she is you and throws me touchdown passes...I simulate all the receivers. We live in Tega Cay, SC and are pulling for you and the rest of the guys to go out and play safe, hard and be victorious. God Bless and GodSpeed, may all your dreams come true Sunday!!!
Go Steelers!

Hey Ben!
Congratulations to you and the entire team for all you have accomplished this year for yourselves, the City of Pittsburgh, and the entire Steelers Nation. I'm originally from Pittsburgh, and am just amazed at how many fans you have down here in Houston, TX - jersey spottings are happing everywhere! A group of us Pittsburgh-natives will be cheering you on with our Texas-sized Terrible Towel on game day. Good luck - yinz make us proud!
