Michelle

Ben,
I heard about your accident this afternoon. Just wanted to wish you a full and speedy recovery, and to let you know that I'm praying for you constantly!!!!
By the way, PLEASE promise me that once you are fully healed, you will wear a helmet!!!! It's been scary enough this time...and I don't want it to happen again. We all need you and love you too much to ever lose you to a stupid vehicle...though I'm sure I don't have to tell you that.
Get Well Soon!!!!!
Love ya lots, Michelle

Take care of yourself Ben.

God be with you Ben. I know you can get through this! Your strengh is amazing (as you continued to try to get up after the accident)and if anyone can pull though this, YOU can and you WILL!! As a true Pittsburgh Steeler Fan (as I also live near Pittsburgh)...please take to heart that football is not what is important today/tonight (easy for me to say, huh?? :) )...it's simply you as a person and not a quarterback (although you do one hell of a good job on that!!) And I HAVE to curse our state (Pa) for their choice of making helmets optional?????) I cringe EVERYTIME I see someone on a motorcycle without a helmet (sick of hearing that one yet????)...Anyways....my prayers are so with you and your family. Keep the faith....as I'm sure you are/do. Rather you come back as a quarterback or not....is not what is important right now....God Speed Ben!!

Patrick

hey Ben I hope you get well soon

Tatiana

I'm pretty upset with you right now, but that has to slide for the time being.

All I'm going to say is that you have to remember that it's not only the automobiles that are recalled by their makers.
You can be as careful as ever, but that doesn't mean that everyone else always is.
Now we've both learned the hard way that we have to choose our battles wisely, head vs. car and/or head vs. pavement is not exactly the fairest of match ups.

Get well soon and pick your battles!

Brandy

Hi Ben, I just wanted to send you some heart-felt blessings for a quick and almost pain-free recovery! ;)Fellow Redhawks (including myself) thank you for coming to the spring game, but also pray for you at this time of healing and ask that next time you please wear your helmet! :) With Love and God's Blessings, Brandy

Cassie

God bless,
**Cassie**

Jessica

Hey Ben, just wanted to say that I was so sorry to hear about your accident. I prayed throughout the day for you not to have any injuries to your brain, which I heard on the news that you don't (praise God), and for you to make a complete recovery, and I'll continue to do so. It looks like you could have been injured a lot worse than you were from your accident - thank God that you weren't. He really does take great care of you.
I hope that you're able to go out and ride and play ball again soon,
- Jessica

Get away from me, state helmet laws!

Captain Lance Murdoch

It's always nice to see young people taking an interest in danger. Now, son, a lot of people are going to be telling you you're crazy, and maybe they're right. But I want to tell you three things. Bones heal. Chicks dig scars. And the United States of America has the best doctor to daredevil ratio in the world.

Mike Thompson

Ben, I pray to you every day. Please cure my mom's cancer. I know she's not as smart or powerful as you, but if you could help her, I sure would appreciate it.

Johnny Cakes

Ben, Does this mean we're not going to ride up to the lake this weekend? :(

Bill C.
